Family

As we attempt to faithfully live out the gospel of Jesus Christ, we realize that we cannot do it alone; we must gather as a family of faith seeking understanding. In our attempts to be family to one another, we offer many activities for every season of life: nursery, preschool, children, youth, college, young adults, middle-aged adults, and seniors adults. Despite these age divisions, what unites us is our love for God and each other. Beyond our regular programs, we have special family emphases throughout the year for the different members of the family.

The FBCX family is intentional about planning regular intergenerational fellowship events and retreats. Some of these include ice cream socials, cookouts and picnics, the "Side Door" Coffee House, Fall Festival, Senior Ladies Valentine Banquet, and other celebratory receptions and banquets. The annual women's retreat is held at St. Simons Island in the fall of each year, and an intergenerational church family retreat is held in the winter. For more information about upcoming church family events, check out the current High-Lites on the "This Week" tab.
