Care For One Hundred — Our Response to the Ebola Crisis in Liberia
This program, designed by our own Rick Wilson, President of the Liberian Baptist Theological Seminary, will help feed the residents of the seminary during this time of crisis from the spread of the Ebola virus. There are approximately 100 residents at the Liberia Baptist Theological Seminary and feeding them as the country has nearly shut down proves difficult.
Through Rick's guidance, food for the residents has been secured and will cost $1,000.00 per month. That works out to $.33 per person, per day. We are joining hands and hearts with other congregations to help feed friends we've never met who are struggling through grief and pain. You can help in this venture by marking your donation to FBCX as "Care For One Hundred" in the memo line of your check. The monies will be securely sent to Liberia, food will be purchased, friends will be fed. Please email Jody Long if you have questions.
