Keeping a Good Lent - Lenten Small Group Offerings
Join one or more small group experiences this Lenten season. Groups will meet weekly during Lent (February 18-April 4). These groups are short-term and high commitment. Register by contacting the church office or by clicking here. Any fees should be paid to the church office.
The Sermon on the Mount Bible Study
Meeting Time and Place: Tuesday nights, February 24- March 31, 6:30 p.m., back room of Taste and See Coffee (546 Poplar St.)
Leader: Darrell Pursiful
No cost. Open to 12 participants.
Meeting Time and Place: Sundays, January 25-March 1, 5:30-6:45 p.m., FBCX youth center
Leader: Molly Martin, yoga instructor and ordained minister
Cost (paid directly to Molly) is $75 for six weeks if paid in full at beginning, or $15/session paid weekly.
How Meditation Can Inform Spiritual Formation

Acrylic Painting for Enjoyment
Meeting Time and Place: Sundays beginning February 22, 3 p.m., Kathy’s home (160 Cross Creek Circle, Macon, 31210)

Cost is $25 and includes all supplies. Open to the first 5 participants to register.
Making Friends With Your Sewing Machine -- CLASS FULL
First Meeting Time and Place: Sunday, February 22, 12:30-2:30 p.m., Pilgrims Classroom at FBCX (subsequent meetings will be discussed at the first meeting)

Cost is $25 and includes a pattern for a simple project and other supplies. Bring a sewing machine if you have one; two will be available for sharing. Open to the first 6 participants to register.
Life Together: Conversations on Dietrich Bonhoeffer and Clarence Jordan (in collaboration with Cententary UMC)
Meeting Time and Place: Tuesday nights February 24-March 24, 7-8 p.m., alternating between FBCX and Cententary UMC (first meeting will be at FBCX)

Cost is $10 for the study guide that will guide discussions on Bonhoeffer.
First Meeting Time and Place: Saturday, February 21, 10:00 a.m., Riverwalk (Park in the lot adjacent to Second St. Bridge). After the initial meeting, time may change due to needs of the group.

Wear clothing and shoes appropriate for exercise. The group will not run in the rain but will still meet to run if it is cold.
