"Write the Vision" Congregational Meeting November 15
Our next Write the Vision congregational conversation will be on Sunday, November 15. This conversation will feature a panel of community leaders from around Macon-Bibb. This "Community Leader Forum" will feature:
Tanzy Kilcrease, assistant superintendent for teaching and learning for Bibb County School District
Karen Lambert, president of the Peyton Anderson Foundation
Katherine McCleod, director of First Choice Primary Care
Alex Morrison, executive director at Macon-Bibb Urban Development Authority
Erin Reimers, executive director of Rescue Mission of Middle Georgia
Larry Schlesinger, rabbi of Temple Beth Israel, Macon-Bibb commissioner for District 2
Our guests will be asked to address the following two questions, with conversation to follow:
1. What are the critical needs of our community from your perspective?
2. What could a congregation like ours do to make a positive difference in our community?
Make plans to be a part of this important conversation on November 15, as we turn our sights outward and listen to leaders in our community share their experiences and perspective. Lunch and childcare for children up to grade 5 will be provided.
