Girls age 4-18 are invited for a conversation about loving yourself, feeling good in your own skin, and being true to your own story. Each girl is invited to dress as fancy or simple as she would like, in a way that expresses her unique style. Photographs with Olivia will be available. Tea, punch and refreshments will be served.
Donations will be accepted to raise money for the Children’s Miracle Network, a non-profit organization dedicated to saving and improving the lives of children by raising funds for children's hospitals. Olivia is the official National Teen Goodwill Ambassador for Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals.
Sponsored by the children’s and youth ministries at First Baptist Church of Christ at Macon
(Proud to be the church home of Olivia McMillan!)
Olivia has a unique story to share. Olivia, who is biracial, was adopted as an infant by a Caucasian couple. Her younger brother, who is also adopted, has numerous special needs which led to many challenges for the family when Olivia was younger. Having struggled with weight issues, racial identity issues, being adopted and the challenges of a special needs sibling, Olivia finds she is able to relate to most everyone in one way or another. Throughout her journey from Miss Warner Robins' Outstanding Teen to the National Title of Miss America's Outstanding Teen, Olivia learned it was critical to embrace her story as what makes her special, not something to be ashamed of. Learn how you too can be true to your story whether pursuing pageant dreams, educational goals, athletics accomplishment, the arts and anything else that speaks to your heart.
RSVP here by March 18.
