FBC Macon

Nurture. Love. Serve. ALL.

We’re proud of our Baptist history and heritage, but we’re also proud of our diversity. At First Baptist you will find a group of people coming from a variety of different church backgrounds and denominations who have found a home at the “top of Poplar.” And while our congregation comes from all over middle Georgia, we are a downtown church and see it is our mission to be the presence of Christ to our InTown and College Hill communities here in Macon.

You’re invited to Dinner and a “Movie” Fourth Friday at FBCX

Join us for a special Fourth Friday at FBCX, August 23, 6-8 pm, in the Fellowship Hall
and let’s get Dinner and a “Movie” together in downtown Macon.

Come for a good meal and conversation with friends and see a great “movie,” not
available in theatres—the video of Krista Tippet, host of NPR’s On Being, speaking
“on civility” (and much more) at this year’s Cooperative Baptist Fellowship annual
General Assembly in Birmingham.

If you’re a fan of, or new to, Krista Tippett (who grew up in Shawnee, Oklahoma, at
the First Baptist Church there), you’ll want to hear and see her compelling message.
This event is a great opportunity to invite friends who aren’t FBCX members to visit
our fellowship. Guests are welcome!

FBCX Fellowship Hall, August 23, 6-8 pm.
Dinner is $6 per adult or youth.
Childcare and kid’s meal provided in the Children’s Center.
Reservations encouraged, but not required.
Call the Church Office at 478-742-6485 or sign up below.
