Special Events

Several special events and traditions are planned each year that involve children and their families.  Some favorite traditions include:

FBC Family Fall Festival – October

Celebrate fall with all of the favorite festival happenings:  games, hayride, cake walk, popcorn, cotton candy, and a chili cookoff for missions!

Palm Sunday Picnic and Egg Hunt – Palm Sunday

Our children lead our Palm Sunday processional waving palms during the morning worship service.  The service is followed by a lunch for all and an egg hunt in the park!

Summer Children’s Camp

Kids in 3-5 grades travel to camp and enjoy creative Bible studies, multi-sensory worship experiences, and fun games, crafts and other activities!

Vacation Bible School

Kids of all ages enjoy this timeless tradition, learning Bible truths through stories, songs, crafts, play, and more!

Children’s Discipleship Class

Our annual discipleship class is led by the Minister of Children and Families and the Pastor.  “Disciples” are paired with adult mentors from the church, and together they explore topics such as Jesus, the Bible, worship, church membership, baptism and communion, and service.
